ASM GLOBAL has an excellent and immediate opening for a Facilities Engineer at ASM GLOBAL-Oakland Arena and RingCentral Coliseum. The Facilities Engineer maintains and operates the building systems and associated equipment during both day-to-day operations and during events.
Requirements
- Maintain union membership in good standing.
- Operate, monitor, and maintain the environmental controls, emergency power, electrical, HVAC, lighting, and other building systems as required for the safe and efficient operation of the facilities.
- Repair, rebuild or replace various items, such as electric motors, combustion engines, compressors, and pumps, etc.
- Follow energy management program, standard operating procedures, and safety procedures for all machinery and equipment.
- Record and log all work performed, complete work orders and compile all required reports in a timely and efficient manner.
- Assist during Arena/Stadium conversions from concerts, ice shows, sporting events and other configurations as needed.
- Coordinates shutdown and start-ups of utilities when necessary.
- Works with outside vendors and contractors in maintenance and repair of building systems and equipment.
- Ensures compliance with Cal/OSHA, OSHA, NFPA and all other applicable laws and regulations.
- Operates equipment, such as industrial trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, scrubbing machines or other power-driven equipment.
