Operations Utility Worker (U) (FT - LACC)

The Operations Utility Worker is responsible for making general basic repairs and meeting minor maintenance needs of the Los Angeles Convention Center.

Requirements

• Paint Preparation
• General basic repairs
• Minor maintenance/repairs
• Move and/or relocate equipment, furniture, etc.
• Hanging pictures, frames, boards, mirrors, security hangers
• Basic Convention Center Equipment repair
• Cleaning and Maintenance of back of house areas, garages, workstations/work areas
• Trash removal, restocking and spill cleanup
• Basic mechanical knowledge (basic knowledge of tools, troubleshooting, repairs, etc.)
• Work and maintain proper equipment which may be heavy duty in nature
• Conduct general machinery cleaning
• Adapt to work on different maintenance work orders
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment
• Assisting other departments as required by management
