Aspen Medical has an exciting opportunity for FT Advanced Providers to partner with us in providing medical services to UN sponsored Kenyan Peacekeepers at a field hospital in Port Au Prince, Haiti. This will be a deployed, rotational contract offering various rotational deployment cycles.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited medical degree program (university) leading to the award of Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent, from a recognized institution in a UN Member State.
- A minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible clinical experience in general medicine, emergency medicine, trauma care, or other relevant clinical disciplines, including experience in field, military, or humanitarian operations.
- Must have valid and current certifications in Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) and Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) or equivalent trauma and emergency response training completed within 12 months before deployment.
- Must be currently registered and licensed to practice medicine by a national medical board or council in their respective country or another UN Member State.
- Completion of postgraduate or board-certified specialty training in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Surgery by an accredited body in a UN Member State.
- Currently registered to practice as a medical doctor and authorized to exercise clinical duties without supervision in his/her own country or another UN Member State.
