Job Description
Aspida is seeking an Actuarial Modeling Leader to drive the development and enhancement of its global actuarial infrastructure. This role reports to the Chief Actuary and focuses on the U.S. retail and international reinsurance segments. The company is a tech-driven, nimble insurance carrier backed by Ares Management Corporation.
Requirements
- Fellow Society of Actuaries
- 10 years’ experience in actuarial roles within life insurance industry
- Understanding of actuarial principles, annuity products, US Stat, US GAAP, and Bermuda EBS
- Experience with fixed and fixed indexed annuity products
- Experience managing and developing actuaries and actuarial students
- Technical proficiency in actuarial software (AXIS preferred) and familiarity with data programming languages
