Job Description
We are seeking an Education Specialist Extensive Support Needs to instruct students with Individualized Education Plans in an inclusive environment. The ideal candidate will have a CA Special Education Teaching Credential (Moderate-Severe Education Specialist, Education Specialist-Extensive Needs) and experience working with students with special needs.
Requirements
- Administer academic assessments and write academic assessment reports
- Consult and communicate with faculty and parents regarding student needs and progress
- Maintain knowledge of current regulations pertaining to special education
- Collaborate with faculty to ensure student modifications and accommodations are being implemented in the general education classroom
