A Field Engineer is needed for a full-time position at Naval Base Kitsap. The job involves coordinating with construction contractors and clients, reviewing submittals and RFIs, and providing quality assurance of construction. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience as a Field Engineer or Construction Manager, knowledge of Primavera scheduling software, and a Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
Requirements
- Five (5) years of experience as a Field Engineer, Construction Manager, Project Manager, Project Controls Manager, or Contracting Officer’s Technical Representative on Department of Navy or other Department of Defense Construction Projects
- Knowledge or training in Primavera scheduling software and/or other construction scheduling software packages including logic networking, critical path method of scheduling, and cost loaded schedules
- Knowledge of the three-phases of control and Construction Quality Management process
- Sound understanding of construction concepts, principles, and practices applicable to multi-disciplined engineering projects and the design, layout, and supervision of construction operation
- Thorough knowledge of construction practices and methods and construction management skills
- Ability to read, write and speak fluent English
- Current USACE/NAVFAC CQMC Training or ability to obtain on project deployment (desired)
