Job Description
We are seeking a Database Engineer to design, implement, and maintain modern database systems, ensuring optimal performance, security, governance, and reliability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role
- Practical work experience in IDLC processes such as Incident, Problem and Change Management
- Proven experience as a DBA with expertise in MongoDB, Snowflake, and Confluent Kafka
- Strong understanding of database design, architecture, and performance optimization
- Experience with database backup and recovery, high availability, and disaster recovery solutions
- Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash)
- Experience with cloud-based database solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, data streaming
