Staff Accountant

Assured is seeking a motivated Staff Accountant to join their growing finance team. This role focuses on modernizing insurance claims processing by optimizing manual processes and ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. They work closely with the insurance industry to transform how claims are handled.

Requirements

• Process and review weekly invoices in Ramp.
• Post payroll entries with correct allocations and reconcile outstanding balances.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage incoming mail and respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Act as primary point of contact with third-party providers to ensure compliance with applicable US federal and state laws related to HR / labor as well as taxes.
