Job Description
Join Assystem as a Senior Mechanical Engineer to work on Front End Engineering Design (FEED) activities across a range of engineering projects for submarine new build and development programmes.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years' experience within the nuclear sector
- Understanding of mechanical design, safety case, operation, and LfE capture
- Previous experience with Technical Document Authoring, Substantiation and Presenting
- Understanding of Nuclear Health & Safety and safety case requirements
- Previous exposure to Chemical Plant, Glovebox's and associated processes, and Welding, NDT techniques
- Familiarity with PLM systems (Teamcentre or similar)
- Knowledge of engineering analysis tools (MathCAD, ANSYS, ABAQUS or similar)
- BEng or similar professional qualification in an engineering related field
