Senior Stress Engineer

We are looking for a Senior/Principal Stress Engineer to lead complex stress and structural integrity assessments, mentor and develop engineers, and drive capability growth.

Requirements

• Lead complex stress and structural integrity assessments using FEA and hand calculations
• Review and approve technical work, representing Assystem confidently with clients
• Mentor and develop engineers, building future stress specialists
• Drive capability growth — training, methods, best practices, recruitment and retention
• Support bids and business development, working closely with Engineering Directors and Sales
• Collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams in the nuclear and defence sectors
