Join the Fusion and Modular Nuclear Business Unit at Assystem, a global leader in accelerating the energy transition. As a Systems Engineer, you will work on cutting-edge projects developing Nuclear Fusion technologies for net-zero power generation.
Requirements
- Degree qualified or equivalent in Systems Engineering or other technical fields
- Background in nuclear fusion, nuclear sector, or regulated industries like thermal power generation, oil and gas
- Whole life-cycle experience is essential
- Extensive subject-specific knowledge of power plant design, UK codes, standards, regulations, and operational requirements
- Working experience of Health and Safety, Quality Assurance standards, CDM regulations, and NBS
- Systems engineering experience through the full project life cycle
- Proven ability to coordinate a highly skilled technical workforce
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Understanding of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
- Ability to work with a multi-national team
