Job Description
Astranis is a space technology company focused on building, launching, and operating satellites in geostationary orbit. They are seeking a Radiation Effects – Team Lead to lead and mentor a team focused on ensuring the reliability and resilience of their satellites. The role involves leading a team of engineers, developing radiation effects strategy, overseeing testing campaigns, and representing the team in cross-functional reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in nuclear engineering, electrical engineering, physics, or a related field.
- Proven industry experience in radiation effects on electronics (TID, SEE, charging).
- Strong technical expertise in circuit testing, system reliability, and spacecraft design.
- Hands-on experience with modeling, simulation, and radiation test execution.
- Demonstrated leadership experience - managing engineers and mentoring.
- Excellent communication skills.
