Job Description
Astranis is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer specializing in High Voltage Power Electronics to contribute to their work on advanced satellite systems. The role involves conceptualizing, designing, testing, and validating power converters and systems, with a focus on the electric field and thermal management of high-voltage components. Astranis is a satellite communications partner with over $1 billion in commercial contracts and a strong team of experienced engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 6+ years of experience
- Passion for hardware development
- Experience with high voltage components and systems
- Experience with analog and digital circuits
- Experience in designing DC-DC power converters
- Experience with PCB thermal considerations
- Mastery of electrical CAD (Altium preferred)
