Job Description
Astranis is a company building advanced satellites for high orbits, providing dedicated, secure networks to customers globally. They are currently servicing over $1 billion in commercial contracts and have a team of 450 engineers and entrepreneurs. The Senior RF Test Engineer role focuses on developing test solutions for RF and mixed signal hardware, including frequency converters, amplifiers, and data converters, and will contribute to the qualification of hardware designs for space environments.
Requirements
- Develop test solutions for automated testing of RF and mixed signal hardware.
- Characterize and calibrate the performance of Astranis radio subsystems.
- Develop and manage test plans, coordinating with hardware engineers.
- Develop and utilize Python libraries for interfacing with test instruments.
- Validate and qualify hardware designs for space environments.
- Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring additional teammates.
