Job Description
Astronomer is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Data Plane Management team. This role focuses on optimizing and scaling the compute foundation for their Astro platform, hosted on Kubernetes. The engineer will own key endpoints, develop features, and collaborate with a global distributed team. Requirements
- Experience building and operating SaaS infrastructure
- Software engineering expertise with Golang
- A passion for reliability and operational excellence
- Production experience with a container based orchestration system (Kubernetes preferred)
- Strong communication skills
- Proactive problem-solving skills
- Experience in an on-call rotation
