Accounts Payable Craftsman

ATHENA Consulting is recruiting an Accounts Payable Craftsman. The position pays $23.00 an hour and is based in Visalia, CA, with opportunities to work in Cairo, GA or Dayton, OR. The role involves performing accounts payable processes, communicating with vendors and internal customers, and maintaining financial records.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of GAAP principles
• Knowledge of Chart of Accounts and general ledger coding
• Familiarity with direct expense versus inventory and the importance of this distinction
• Understanding of 3-way matching (PO, receipt, invoice)
• Understanding of accruals, their purpose, and how and when to accrue
