Primary School PYP PE Teacher - Bilingual English with German or French

Atlanta International School (AIS) is seeking a Primary School PYP PE Teacher to join their dynamic and inclusive community. The successful candidate will cultivate relationships with students, build a positive classroom environment, and foster a sense of belonging. They will also develop and implement inquiry-based lessons that promote critical thinking and curiosity. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience as a Primary School PE Educator, proficiency in English, and advanced proficiency in German or French.

Requirements

• Teach groups of students through a play-based approach that develops physical education, sports, and social/emotional skills.
• Design and implement lessons that challenge students of different abilities and learning styles.
• Develop relationships with students that support a restorative practices approach to building community and fostering a sense of belonging.
• Assess learning and document students' progress.
• Safeguard students by monitoring their physical and social-emotional safety.
