Biomedical Equipment Techician III

This opportunity involves a biomedical equipment technician with advanced skills and a strong understanding of medical equipment systems. The role requires expertise in hardware, software, and clinical network applications, alongside strong troubleshooting skills. The technician will work as a leader, trainer, and contribute to the maintenance and repair of medical equipment, including diagnosis, repair, installation, and calibration.

Requirements

• Advanced skill in healthcare technology
• Understanding of medical equipment systems and devices
• Understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology
• Ability to follow manufacturer's procedures
• Experience with medical equipment including non-high-risk and high-risk equipment
• Experience with project management terms and methods
• Experience in assigned clinical environment
• Ability to resolve complex customer service issues
• Knowledge of medical equipment management plan (MEMP)
• Ability to review BMET 2 and BMET 1 documentation
• Ability to successfully resolve complex customer service issues
• Positive relationships with department representatives and leadership
