This opportunity involves a biomedical equipment technician with advanced skills and a strong understanding of medical equipment systems. The role requires expertise in hardware, software, and clinical network applications, alongside strong troubleshooting skills. The technician will work as a leader, trainer, and contribute to the maintenance and repair of medical equipment, including diagnosis, repair, installation, and calibration.
Requirements
- Advanced skill in healthcare technology
- Understanding of medical equipment systems and devices
- Understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology
- Ability to follow manufacturer's procedures
- Experience with medical equipment including non-high-risk and high-risk equipment
- Experience with project management terms and methods
- Experience in assigned clinical environment
- Ability to resolve complex customer service issues
- Knowledge of medical equipment management plan (MEMP)
- Ability to review BMET 2 and BMET 1 documentation
- Ability to successfully resolve complex customer service issues
- Positive relationships with department representatives and leadership
