The Station Production Controller is responsible for the efficient, timely planning and coordination of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities at the station, ensuring aircraft availability, regulatory compliance, and optimal resource utilization.
Requirements
- Create, maintain, and update the Line Status Sheet Report.
- Run Daily Meetings.
- Maintain and help develop the station’s maintenance schedule (daily and overnight operations), aligning with the fleet schedule, routing, and commercial requirements.
- Coordinate maintenance packages, task cards, and work scopes to ensure required parts, tooling, manpower, consumables, and access are in place before aircraft arrival.
- Monitor aircraft arrival/departure times, gate/stand constraints, ground handling availability and ensure that maintenance tasks are sequenced and prioritized appropriately.
- Maintain station capability information (skills, tooling, manpower hours, shift coverage) and liaise with Maintenance Control Centre (MCC), Planning, Engineering and Supply Chain to identify and resolve resource constraints.
- Constantly monitors the man hours available versus the man hours planned.
- Maximize downtime opportunities for defect resolution within the station priorities and communicate changes.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., airworthiness directives, service bulletins, maintenance program tasks) and internal procedures.
- Support the execution of out-of-service (OOS) aircraft routing, recovery plans, and deviation management, working closely with line operations, engineering, and station teams.
- Prepare and deliver reports and presentations on station performance metrics.
