Sr Data Modeler/Architect

AG is seeking a Sr Data Modeler/Architect to provide project and team leadership as well as data architecture/design deliverable. The incumbent leads project teams to implement data architecture solutions in support of new and current product initiatives.

Requirements

• Develop, design, and document top quality data models using Power Designer
• Facilitate JAD sessions and develop mutually acceptable database designs
• Provide top level expertise in data management and data modeling
• Construct and maintain complex data models
• Translate data/business needs into data model/architecture solutions
• Work directly with users to resolve data conflicts and advise them of corporate data standards and policies
• Identify opportunities for reuse of data across the enterprise
• Participate in the development of physical models in cooperation with application development staff and the assigned DBA
• Populate and reference the Corporate Data Dictionary during any development activity
• Develop and maintain DBMS related standards and procedures
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with business partners
• Lead the activities of small groups of Data Administrators, Database Administrators and Application Developers
• Identify and support quality improvement initiatives
• Comply with all Client’s security and audit standards
• Demonstrate the value of DMS specialties to application development organizations
• Influence development organizations to comply with database best practices and Client’s database standards and practices
