Job Description
Audax Group is seeking a Vice President - Senior Debt to lead and manage a portfolio of senior secured loans. This role involves underwriting and managing a team of junior credit professionals, providing oversight on new investment opportunities, and analyzing performance. The Vice President will focus on first lien, unitranche, and in some cases, junior debt facilities for U.S. middle market companies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 8+ years investment banking, direct lending, structured credit, or similar experience
- Experience underwriting lead opportunities
- Ability to manage multiple processes for live transactions
- Ability to structure and negotiate legal documentation
- Understanding of credit quality and risk assessment
- Proficiency with credit documentation.
