August Schell is seeking a Splunk Traveling Engineer with 1-2 years of experience in technical consulting, active Secret level security clearance, and Splunk Architect Certification. The ideal candidate will drive complex deployments of Splunk, solve unique challenges, and develop innovative solutions for customer success.
Requirements
- Active Secret level security clearance (or higher)
- Splunk Architect Certification
- 1-2 years of experience in technical consulting
- Experience in both Unix and Windows operating systems; comfortable on the command line interface
- Demonstrable understanding of common enterprise applications (especially in the areas of security and finance)
- Willing to travel 50%-75% (primarily US travel)
- Valid U.S. Drivers License (required)
- Ability to quickly explore, examine and understand complex problems and apply to customers use cases
- Ability to collaborate and communicate with technical and non-technical professionals of all levels; from IT administrators to executive stakeholders
- Be self-motivated and self-educating; as well as able to work well on a team
- High level of organization with a healthy sense of urgency, ability to prioritize, communicate clearly and effectively, and meet aggressive deadlines with competing priorities
- Excellent Troubleshooting Skills. Ability to successfully resolve issues in a timely and systematic method
