Job Description
Aurora is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join their Vehicle Data Management team. The role involves designing and scaling systems for offloading, ingesting, and processing data from various sources, including sensor data, vehicle logs, and simulations. The ideal candidate will collaborate with both onboard systems and cloud systems and contribute to the development of efficient and innovative products.
Requirements
- BS/MS or PhD in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of related experience
- Basic proficiency in GoLang/Python, Backend software systems, networking, load balancing, API gateways, security
- AWS infrastructure experience (S3, DynamoDB)
- Knowledge of database design, scalability, workflow orchestration (Kubernetes, CI/CD)
- Comfortable working with Linux/Unix
