Kids Ministry Associate (Part-Time)

The Kids Ministry Associate (KMA) will serve alongside the Kids Ministry Director to promote a healthy children’s ministry, and ensure that the children at the congregation are hearing the truth of God, experiencing the love of Christ, and having fun at church.

Requirements

• Assist KMD to lead Kids ministry in alignment with the vision and strategies developed by the congregation staff team and the Family Ministries team.
• Recruit and screen childcare contract workers to meet the childcare needs for events
• Ensure all childcare contract workers are paid correctly and in a timely manner
• Provide administrative support to the KMD to aid in reaching ministry goals, including database maintenance, coordination of ministry calendar, and data tracking.
• Assist with ensuring the faithful execution of curriculum, Sunday ministry, policies, and volunteer and childcare worker screening in accordance with church safety policies.
• Attend and participate in all required events and activities for The Austin Stone, including all Sunday services (including major holidays), staff meetings, prayer meetings, special events, Central Kids Ministry events, continuing education events, training opportunities, etc.
