Job Description
St Regis Academy is seeking substitute teachers for the 2023-24 school year to maintain a strong learning environment during absences. Substitute teachers will manage the classroom, instruct students, and complete assigned tasks. They will work with lesson plans, supervise students, and adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs.
Requirements
- Follow lesson plans provided by the regular teacher.
- Manage the classroom effectively.
- Adapt teaching methods to student needs.
- Assist children in developing good habits and role modeling.
- Complete required Missouri state training.
- Pass a background check and Diocese Virtus training.
- Maintain confidentiality of children's information.
- Professional and positive interactions with children and families.
- Ability to lift 40 pounds.
