Job Description
Avamere Rehab of Newport is seeking a part-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP or SLP-CFY) to join their team in Newport, Oregon. The role involves providing speech pathology services to patients, directing and supervising assistants and rehab aides, and supporting department operations and development.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved curriculum in Speech Language Pathology
- Licensed as a Speech Language Pathologist in Oregon
- Able to practice unencumbered
- In good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards
- Working knowledge of Medicare and other payer sources
- Full knowledge of residents' rights
- Exudes professionalism in presentation
- Ability to multitask
- Must be able to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English
- CPR certification
