Job Description
Aviatrix is seeking a Staff Cloud Test Engineer to join their Security and Platform QA team. The role involves building test designs and test plans for new and existing features, ensuring product reliability, scalability, and quality. This is a high-impact position where work will shape the quality of Aviatrix’s firewall and security services, improving release velocity and system reliability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 9 years of experience in a networking-focused QA/test role.
- Strong understanding of protocols such as HTTP, HTTPS, TCP/IP, UDP, etc.
- Experience testing network security platforms (e.g., threat detection, IDS/IPS).
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI).
- Proficiency in Linux environments and scripting (Python, Shell, or similar).
- Knowledge of performance testing tools (iperf, Ixia, etc.).
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent collaboration and communication abilities.
