Job Description
Applications engineers assist customers in setting up processes on Axcelis ion implantation and rapid thermal processing equipment. They provide technical support, perform scientific analysis, and contribute to product and process improvements.
Requirements
- Perform technical support for all segments of the organization
- Provide reactive and proactive technical support for customers
- Perform scientific or mathematical analysis and calculations
- Design and conduct complex laboratory experiments
- Interpret and communicate results
- Prepare detailed scientific reports and comprehensive proposals
- Contribute ideas to improve products or processes
- Understand and interpret business and technology trends
- Publish technical papers and present seminars
- Perform other related duties as directed
