Data Engineer

This contract role requires a Data Engineer to join a telecommuting team based in Warsaw, Masovian Voivodeship, Poland. The ideal candidate will possess strong programming skills in Python, AWS experience, and expertise in CI/CD, AWS CDK, and data warehousing. They should also have a solid understanding of data modeling, DevOps, and cloud-native development.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in data engineering or a similar role.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Expertise with AWS services including (but not limited to) S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, Athena, Step Functions, and CloudWatch.
• Hands-on experience with AWS CDK for infrastructure-as-code deployments.
• Proven experience implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab CI/CD, CodePipeline, Jenkins, or similar.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and SQL.
• Familiarity with DevOps and cloud-native development best practices.
