Taxonomist

The Digital Business Intelligence and Analytics (DBIA) group at large Technologies is seeking a Taxonomist to manage taxonomy creation, maintenance, and governance. The role requires a subject matter expert, advocate, and stakeholder requirements gatherer, supporting a collaborative environment with various internal and external stakeholders. This position involves communication and knowledge content development with NLP, graph databases, and semantic ontologies.

Requirements

• • Minimum 5 years’ experience working in taxonomy management and governance in a large organization.
• • Proven record of creating taxonomies from business requirements.
• • Experience researching, identifying, and documenting requirements, as well as enforcing standards, agreements, and charters.
• • Understanding of knowledge content management and development, as well as search and retrieval tools.
• • Basic understanding of semantic ontologies.
• • Familiar with NLP engines.
