The North American Axis Communications’ Academy is comprised of classroom based training, webinars and online modules, with more than 6,000 customers trained annually. The Instructional Designer role will report to the central-based Educational Services organization and is responsible for the overall creation, distribution, and implementation of Axis Communications training materials in North America.
Requirements
- Align with subject matter experts to develop industry specific training materials
- Develop online courseware leveraging multiple eLearning tools
- Gather feedback from the field on existing courseware
- Create new course materials based on requirements for learning objectives
- Update existing content based on feedback from the field, technology trends, new industry information, Axis product releases and corporate strategy alignment
- Conduct train-the-trainer sessions and support Trainer preparedness
- Introduce new ideas, teaching methods, and supporting documentation to continue to evolve the Academy offerings
- Align courseware with equipment needs, maintenance, and inventory
- Support global content development as required
