Java Engineer - Latin America - Remote

Azumo is seeking a Java Senior Engineer to develop and enhance backend infrastructure used by millions of users in Latin America. The position is fully remote and requires 4+ years of experience with enterprise class frameworks, deep expertise in designing and building robust APIs, and practical experience with open source technologies.

Requirements

• Design, develop and test robust Java APIs
• Evaluate multiple approaches and technologies to solving a problem
• Understand data pipeline needs and work with product managers to find solutions
• 4+ years experience with enterprise class frameworks (such as Spring Boot, Hibernate, Spring or any other Java enterprise class frameworks)
• Deep expertise in designing and building robust APIs
• Practical experience with open source technologies and products
• Self-driven and motivated, with a strong work ethic and a passion for problem solving
• Professional English proficiency (B2/C1)
