Job Description
Join our Family! As the Sanitation Lead Technician, you will oversee the sanitation team and ensure compliance with all sanitation protocols. You will manage personnel on the production floor, ensure proper use of PPE, and maintain cleanliness and sanitation of equipment and facilities according to internal SOPs and the Master Sanitation Schedule.
Requirements
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the sanitation team
- Ensure all team members adhere to PPE requirements
- Monitor compliance with safety protocols
- Facilitate routine training sessions for sanitation staff
- Oversee the cleaning and sanitation of specified equipment and facilities
- Conduct regular inspections to verify that equipment is sanitized properly
- Monitor and enforce adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
- Verify that detailed chemical label instructions for sanitation programs and SOPs are being followed
- Ensure that chemicals are mixed according to manufacturer instructions
- Support the Sanitation Supervisor in maintaining accurate records of sanitation activities
- Report damaged or worn equipment to the Supervisor or Team Leader and coordinate repairs or replacements
- Operate CIP (Clean-in-Place) and COP (Clean-Out-of-Place) procedures on a regular basis
