Senior Director of Finance

The Senior Director of Finance provides strategic and operational leadership for the organization's Finance Department, ensuring effective financial controls, accurate and timely financial reporting, and regulatory compliance. This position requires advanced knowledge of GAAP and experience managing general ledger, budgeting, payroll, and accounts payable and receivable functions.

Requirements

• Master's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field with seven years of progressively responsible financial experience
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business with ten years of professional accounting experience, including at least three years in a supervisory or administrative capacity
• Advanced knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Demonstrated experience managing general ledger, budgeting, payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions
• Experience with payroll processing and knowledge of federal and state payroll regulations
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop financial data and recommendations influencing long-term organizational decisions
• Advanced computer proficiency, including accounting, payroll, and financial reporting systems, and Microsoft Office products
• Proven ability to manage, develop, and lead professional staff
• Ability and willingness to work a minimum 40-hour work week with extended hours as needed to meet deadlines, audits, and month-end close requirements
