Job Description
Backbase is seeking a Principal Backend Engineer to join their team, responsible for ensuring the technical vision is realized in development activities. This role involves prototyping new architecture, validating technology ideas, leading teams, and providing expert advice to customers and internal stakeholders. Backbase offers a modern microservices solution in a highly regulated banking environment.
Requirements
- Solid background in software development, design and architectural patterns
- 2-3 Years of experience in the banking domain or Fintech products
- Excellent communication skills in English, spoken and written
- Experience with Java, Spring, Maven, Docker, CI and CD
- Strong experience with microservices
- Experience with Cloud-native deployments
- Knowledge of relational databases, security, performance, and scalability
