BAE Systems Space and Mission Systems is seeking a talented Systems Engineer to support our team of experts in developing cutting-edge Cryogenic Systems. As a key member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, collaborate with experienced engineers, and grow in our Cryogenic Systems team.
Requirements
- Validation and Verification of requirements associated with thermal/cryogenic hardware
- Produce and maintain requirement verification matrix and design compliance matrix
- Track deliverable documents from suppliers, including end item data packages
- Understand and support Cryogenic-Thermal design and analysis
- Support Program Milestones such as PDR, CDR, TRR, HSR
- Support IPT level milestones such as tabletop reviews, peer reviews, tests, IDR, and HHRs
- Interface and coordinate with other engineering disciplines
- Write and approve SERs
- Manage Validation and Verification of requirements
- Write Specifications and Statements of Work for subcontracts
- Interface with subcontractors
- Assist with HAR/TARs
- Support hardware testing as needed
- Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company
