We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator to design, build, and maintain secure, resilient, and highly available database platforms on AWS. The successful candidate will work in empowered, autonomous teams to deliver innovative solutions to complex challenges that help keep the UK safe.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in AWS database services
• Experience with backup and recovery strategies using AWS tools
• Security and compliance experience
• Automation and infrastructure as code skills
• Performance optimization skills
• Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Shell
• Operating system knowledge of Linux and Windows
• Agile delivery experience
