Job Description
BAE System Maritime Solutions Divisions is seeking Pipe Welders from Entry Level to Experienced Backgrounds. The role involves operating and maintaining welding machines, obtaining certifications for GTAW welding, and conducting pre-visual NDT inspections.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED or 3 years shipyard/marine experience
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and welding symbols
- Able to wear appropriate protective gear (PPE)
- Able to physically perform essential job duties with or without accommodations
- Able to work at heights, in confined spaces and have the ability to climb staircases and ladders of varying sizes
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS) access card
