Job Description
BAE Systems is hiring a Program Manager to support our Ship Repair business in San Diego, CA. As a Program Manager, you can help our teams solve some of the most complex challenges – all while growing your own career.
Requirements
- Coordinate project activities, deliverables, and action items
- Prepare project execution plans and identify technical and business resource needs
- Develop or assist with development of project cost estimates and proposals
- Review work statements / scope to ensure they are adequately defined and executable
- Proactively and collaboratively support the project team through scope review, investigation, and guidance
- Execute processes and procedures to meet management and project requirements
- Review performance to include budget and schedule; review/prepare status reports
- Monitor effort to ensure schedule and budget are maintained accordance to plan
- Work with risk managers to ensure risks and opportunities are properly captured, appropriate risk mitigation activities are identified, and risk mitigation is effective
- Support the development and communication of program metrics
- Maintain and promote good customer relationships
