Technical Intern 3

BAE Systems is seeking highly motivated engineering students to join our GXP Software Team as an intern. As an intern, you will be working directly embedded with one of our small software teams, developing cutting-edge solutions using advanced technologies. You will have the opportunity to implement new features, investigate new technologies, design new enhancements, and work with a mentor to learn about software principles and technical development.

Requirements

• Enrolled in an accredited engineering/technical undergraduate or graduate degree program
• Basic understanding of and skills in software design and coding
• Exposure to at least one of Python, C++, Java, or JavaScript
• Familiarity with software development/engineering
• Experience with IDEs such as Visual Studio, PyCharm, or NetBeans
• Experience with configuration management tools such as git
• Experience with build systems such as cmake, Maven, or Ant
