Job Description
Join BAE Systems as a Technical Intern 3 and contribute to developing Next Generation Electronic Systems Products and Solutions. Collaborate with Systems, Hardware and Test Engineers across multiple disciplines to impact all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle.
Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or other scientific degree with strong software content.
- Completed Junior year of college by Summer 2026
- Strong problem-solving skills that translate to working, maintainable software.
- Must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain a Secret clearance in the future
- Demonstrated proficiency in a high level software language such as Java, C++, C, or Python (preferred)
- Coursework or other experience in embedded software development (preferred)
- Working knowledge of software tools such as Jira, BitBucket, debuggers, containers, etc. (preferred)
- Experience with Agile Development and DevSecOps (preferred)
- Experience using git or another version control system (preferred)
- Experience developing on Windows/Linux Operating Systems (preferred)
- Familiarity with Unit Testing frameworks (preferred)
