Systems Administrator job requires a combination of people skills and system administration expertise to solve problems and maintain complex systems. The role involves installing, maintaining, and supporting a hybrid network environment with a virtualized infrastructure, providing quality technical support for end users, and maintaining responsibility for the technical infrastructure. The Systems Administrator will work independently and as part of a team to help improve the technology supporting multiple research, development, and analysis projects for government clients.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Linux or Red Hat administration, including Ansible, command line usage and scripting, NFS management, and upgrades
- 3+ years of experience in Windows Server administration, including Active Directory, group policies, remote desktop management, Domain Name System (DNS), and Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP)
- Experience with virtualization administration using VMWare vSphere and ESXi hypervisors, including managing resources, shared storage, and virtual networking
- Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED
- CompTIA Security+, DoDD 8140, or DoDD 8570 Certification
