Baker Electric is hiring a Prefabrication Coordinator to work on-site at their Escondido office. The Prefabrication Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating prefab activities, including scheduling, material tracking, and quality control. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in electrical construction, preferably with experience working with procurement, warehouse, and field teams.
Requirements
- At least 5-7 years of experience in electrical construction running work, including Prefab.
- Experience working with Procurement, Warehouse, and Field teams to track materials, back orders, substitutions, and logistics.
- Proven background in project coordination, scheduling, or logistics within a construction environment.
- Understanding of Bill of Materials (BOM) reconciliation and material readiness tracking.
- Experience using ERP systems or project tracking software for prefab and material coordination.
- Competency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Teams, for reporting and communication.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills — able to manage multiple work packages simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and documentation habits.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify blockers and propose solutions quickly.
- Hands-on experience with QA/QC processes.
