SVP, Managing Director, Banker

Banc of California is seeking a SVP, Managing Director, Banker to join their life sciences venture banking originations team. The ideal candidate will have 12+ years of venture banking and/or financial services experience and be able to originate, structure, negotiate, and execute lending opportunities to early stage private and public companies in the healthcare industry.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent work experience
• 12+ years of venture banking and/or financial services experience
• Creative and strategic thinker with excellent problem solving and organizational skills
• Ability to exhibit professionalism and a positive attitude under pressure
• Ability to work independently yet collaborate cross-functionally in a team environment
• Superior oral and written communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple priorities, projects and relationships simultaneously
• Proven success in managing client accounts
