We are seeking a confident and professional Switchboard Operator to join our team, responsible for handling incoming and outgoing calls, and ensuring that enquiries are directed promptly and accurately to the appropriate individuals or departments.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a switchboard operator or within a customer service role.
- Experience using Mitel systems is advantageous but not essential.
- Proficiency in operating switchboard systems and standard office equipment.
- Basic IT literacy, including email, word processing, and spreadsheet applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional, polite, and friendly telephone manner.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to handle a variety of callers and situations.
- High level of accuracy and exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure.
- Problem-solving ability and adaptability to changing circumstances.
- Understanding of confidentiality guidelines and best practices.
