Bank of Jordan is seeking a Senior Auditor to join our dynamic audit team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting financial and operational audits to ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking, or related fields.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in internal audit or central operations/support functions.
- Good knowledge of the global internal auditing framework.
- Solid understanding of regulatory policies and applicable laws (local and international).
- Preference for professional certifications such as CIA, CFE, or other relevant certifications.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards, accounting principles, regulatory requirements, banking operations, products, and services.
- Good knowledge of data analytics tools.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for preparing reports and presentations.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in computer use, audit management systems, and Microsoft Office.
- Good command of English.
- Ability to work under pressure.
