We believe in empowerment, continuous integration and improvements and aim for a modular architecture and modern delivery pipelines. Although developing tech for the banking industry is what we do, being a good match with us does not require you to have been born with an interest in financial infrastructure. A desire to solve interesting problems using the latest technologies and making a difference to society is all that you need.
Bankdata udvikler og driver IT-løsninger, som er helt centrale for den danske finanssektor. Vi står bag den tekniske infrastruktur, der holder den daglige finansielle drift kørende – fra transaktioner og compliance til de systemer, der understøtter pengeinstitutternes forretning.
I teamet MAI (Mainframe Infrastructure & DB2) har vi ansvaret for Bankdatas mainframe-platform. Vi arbejder med alt fra performance, kapacitet og release management til testdatahåndtering. Vores mål er at sikre en stabil, sikker og effektiv drift – og skabe den transparens, som udviklingsteams bruger til at overvåge og optimere deres løsninger.
Som Senior DB2 Engineer i teamet får du fokus på drift, tuning og automatisering af Db2 på IBM mainframe. Du gør metrikker og observability til en naturlig del af hverdagen, samarbejder tæt med udviklere, drift og sikkerhed – og sikrer, at platformen leverer forretningskritiske transaktioner stabilt.
Du tager ejerskab for Db2-stakken på z/OS, hvor du balancerer robust drift med løbende forbedringer, bl.a. gennem scripting og automatisering (gerne AI-understøttet). Du dokumenterer, standardiserer og gør viden og alarmer tilgængelige for udviklingsteams.

De første 6–12 måneder vil du: blive en integreret del af teamet, levere konkrete tuning- og automationsgevinster og øge synligheden af mainframe som strategisk platform i Bankdatas Tech Strategi.
Vi forestiller os, at du har en baggrund som datalog, softwareingeniør eller lignende, og at du har opbygget solid erfaring med relationelle databaser – gerne gennem 5–10+ år i et teknisk miljø, hvor stabilitet og performance er nøgleord. Du har praktisk erfaring med z/OS, DB2, SQL og REXX, og du trives med at dykke ned i komplekse systemer og finde de løsninger, der gør en reel forskel.
Derudover har du måske arbejdet med OMEGAMON, SMF eller metrikplatforme, og du motiveres af at optimere, automatisere og skabe overblik i store datastrømme. Du er engageret, kommunikerende og løsningsorienteret, og du trives i et tæt samarbejde med kolleger, hvor man deler viden, løser udfordringer sammen og løfter platformen i fællesskab.
