Job Description
Bantrel is seeking a Project Controls Specialist to join their team based in Saskatoon, SK. The successful candidate will have prior working experience in an EPC environment and be familiar with project controls systems and procedures. The role involves implementing project controls plans, collecting and analyzing data, and preparing cost-related reports. The candidate will be part of a team shaping the future of the company and supporting projects in mining, energy transition, and industrial sectors across Saskatchewan and Western Canada.
Requirements
- Engineering degree, business degree or technical diploma
- 5+ years of experience in an EPC environment
- Strong understanding of cost engineering, project management control concepts
- Demonstrable continuing self-development relative to the management control of major capital expenditure projects
- An aptitude for numerical data analysis
- Fluency in MS Office 365 suite
- Project performance systems proficiency in Hexagon EcoSys or equivalent
- Some experience with Excel Power Queries, Power BI and Power Apps
- Good interpersonal and teamworking skills
