Artiste 3D FX / 3D FX Artist - Feature Animation

We are seeking a talented and creative 3D FX Artist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating dynamic and realistic effects for a TV featurette project.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in animation/VFX
• Ability to create multiple types of digital effects from simple to moderately difficult
• Experience with Houdini and Nuke are required, knowledge of Maya and Katana are a plus
• Knowledge of Renderman shading, volume rendering and raytracing experience preferred
• Scripting ability in VEX and Python are a plus
• Experience with creating effects using Flip and Vellum solver is preferred
• Understanding of physics, lighting, and rendering techniques as they relate to visual effects
• A keen eye for detail and the ability to create realistic and visually stunning effects
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines
• A creative mindset with a passion for pushing the boundaries of visual effects
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to take and apply feedback effectively
