We are seeking a full-time ESG Associate to lead and improve our real estate ESG program in the debt portfolio across all European geographies. The role involves supporting the evolution and implementation of our ESG strategy, maintaining policies and procedures, and providing timely feedback to investors on ESG-related matters.
Requirements
- Support Barings Real Estate's ESG strategy evolution and implementation for real estate debt
- Maintain policies, procedures, and best practice as regulation and legislation evolves
- Support RFP and CPM teams with providing timely feedback to investors on ESG-related matters
- Support quarterly investor sessions for Barings flagship debt fund in Europe
- Support due diligence reviews with prospective investors
- Support internal engagement at all levels, acting as an ambassador and champion for ESG
- Lead 'ESG in portfolio construction' project for the Debt team
- Implement ESG engagement tracking and investor reporting
